Helping Our Neighbor in Need

Recently, we received a referral from the St. Gianna Center, a crisis pregnancy center and resource provider in New Haven. One of their clients, a mom of 2 beautiful little ones - 6 months and 2 years - was in need of linens, blankets, pillow, towels, and toiletries. We were happy to deliver all of the above items to her doorstep.

While there, we noticed she was in need of much, much more to make her house a home.

Through our network of supporters and donors, we were able to provide a lovely used kitchen table and chairs, a twin bed with lightly used mattress and box spring for her 2 year old, a used pack and play for her 6 month old, a chest of drawers, used but in excellent condition that could double as a changing table, used children's board books in good condition, and some stuffed animals. We also provided many small kitchen appliances, both used and brand new. We are currently in contact with her to be able to help her with her other furnishing needs.
